On Holidays!

Well, I'm on Christmas Holidays now. I'm lucky enough to be able to save a lot of my holidays to take at Christmas. I have a few things to do from home, but it's much more relaxing knowing I'm off for a while. Late Nov. Dec. has been very busy. I had stuff up pretty much every week, keeping me mostly out of the office. I did get a quick trip to Phoenix, Arizona. I hadn't been there before so it was nice to see it. Not bad in winter, probably don't want to be there in summer!

We had a great Christmas party with friends and had a lot of fun and a lot of food! As much as we all love our kids, it's really nice to spend a whole evening with a group of adults having fun, laughing and eating. We want to make this an annual tradition. I think everyone had a good time and I hope everyone accepts the invitation for next year.

I'm finnally playing hockey again. I didn't play my last year in Winnipeg and there were no leagues in Alberta, although I did go to a few pickup games with Dave. It's nice though to play regularily. Boy, you sure lose a lot over two years. I not hurting the team, but I'm certainly not to the point yet where I'm helping a whole lot. But my conditioning is good now, just in time to lose it over Christmas break!

And, we had our family Christmas last night. The kids are now at the age that they fully comprehend Christmas. They were so excited all day and loved their presents. Un-promted, halfway through the evening, our little girl went to Mommy, gave here a hug and said "Thankyou, I love it!" My boy got the truck he wanted and keeps saying, "it's just what I wanted" I haven't downloaded the pics yet from the camera. We have another Christmas to go yet. The kids are still excited.
